Odin’s Eye, Mímir’s Well, and the Wisdom of the Ravens

In the ancient days, Odin gave one of his eyes to drink from Mímir’s Well — the sacred source of wisdom hidden beneath the roots of Yggdrasil. It wasn’t power he sought, but truth, vision, and understanding — the kind of wisdom that comes with sacrifice.

From that day on, his ravens — Huginn (Thought) and Muninn (Memory) — soared across the Nine Realms, gathering insight and reporting back to the Allfather each dusk.

But don’t worry — we at Design Team Valhalla don’t ask for one of your eyes in return for quality. We're committed to keeping our work accessible and reasonably priced, because we believe top-tier creative tools should reach the hands of serious artists everywhere — without breaking them.

We are a passionate group of digital designers dedicated to creating high-quality, inspiring resources for artists worldwide. At the heart of our team is Mårten, our founder, based in Sweden. With a rich background of over 15 years as a tattoo artist, Mårten has always been captivated by the art of creative expression.In 2017, after undergoing a life-changing heart surgery, Mårten began experimenting with drawing on an iPad as part of his recovery process. What started as a therapeutic exploration quickly grew into a full-time passion, leading to the creation of Design Team Valhalla.Our journey has been deeply influenced by the incredible feedback and support from creative minds all around the globe. This connection fuels our commitment to innovation and excellence. Whether it's brainstorming new ideas, crafting unique designs, or fine-tuning every detail, we never stop striving to push the boundaries of what’s possible.We are immensely grateful for the overwhelming positivity and encouragement we’ve received from our customers over the years.
